The 8th preliminary match on Day 3 of the 2007 FIVB Beach Volleyball Women's Challenger between Switzerland’s Isabelle Eusabeth Klara Forrer/Schmocker and China’s Li Yang/Hu Anna was staged at 4:00 p.m. August 15. As a result, the Swiss pair beat the Chinese duo in two straight sets (26:24, 21:13).

After the match the Chinese pair showed disappointment with the result. No.1 Li Yang said they failed to give full play to what they really have. "We did not play as well as usual or score at the critical moment. I’m so sorry. Hopefully, we can restore our form and play better in the next round."

Commenting on the match, No.2 Hu Anna attributed their defeat to unsuccessful attacking. "We were too weak in counterattack and inefficient in first spikes. With such a low success rate of attack and so many errors, nothing could be satisfactory."
