China’s duo of Cao Na and Zhao Xiaolin lost to their Swiss counterparts Sarah Schmocker and Isabelle Forrer 2:1 in the first game of the round of 16 of the 2007 FIVB Beach Volleyball Women's Challenger this morning at the Chaoyang Park in Beijing. The scores of the three sets were 19-21, 21-16 and 10-15.

The wondrous game witnessed a seesaw clash between China and Swiss in the first set as it twisted to a tie of 15-15 and then 19-19. China’s two turnovers helped Swiss take a 21-19 lead.

In the second set, the Chinese girls fastened their pace in the breath-taking rally making consecutive serves to win 20-16.

The final set saw them teeter at 3-13 and the Swiss gradually controlled the rhythm of the game with several powerful hammers and seized the victory 15-10.
