Schmocker/Forrer do good teamwork in match

The semiquarter finals of the 2007 FIVB Beach Volleyball Women's Challenger began at Chaoyang Park at 9.00 a.m. August 16. Swiss pair Sarah Schmocker/Isabelle Forrer beat Chinese pair Cao Na/Zhao Xiaolin 2:1 to advance to the quarterfinals successfully. After the match, the former gave an interview to reporters.

Despite the victory, the three-set match was by no means an easy one. The Swiss pair clinched the victory only after dominating the situation in the third set. Commenting on that, they said, "This was the first three-set match we had played these days. Our opponents were the strongest we had ever met in this challenger. We won the match by good service in the third set."

Today is cloudy and free of sunburn. Forrer noted, "We feel good in such good weather. Anyway, we must get used to playing in any weather."

However, Schmocker said, "Today's spectators were fairly enthusiastic, though they cheered the Chinese pair for most of the time, I like them very much."
