In the fifth semiquarter final match on Day 4 of the 2007 FIVB Beach Volleyball Women's Challenger, Angela Vieira/Danielle da Conceicao Cunha Vivan, a strong pair from Brazil, beat the Malaysian duo Beh Shun Thing/Luk Teng Hua 2:0.

After the match, the Brazilian players said they are confident of getting all the way into the finals. "We are here for that," they added.

Vieira/Vivan are regarded as the strongest in the current tournament. As they said, they are representing a fighting spirit of their country. Speaking of the following matches, they thought all the pairs in the quarterfinals will be strong enough to pose a threat to their opponents. However, they said they would be happy to be pitted against China's No. 1 pair.
