Swiss duo Sarah Schmocker and Isabelle Forrer trounced Guo Qian and Shen Rongrong of China 2:0 to qualify for the semifinals of the 2007 FIVB Beach Volleyball Women's Challenger this morning. The scores of the two sets were 21-15 and 21-19.

The Swiss pair opened the game with several drop shots and easily controlled the net plays thanks to their height advantage.

Trailing 21-15 into the second set, Guo Qian and Shen Rongrong didn’t give up and managed to keep close at 19-20 but it was the two powerful drops by the Swiss made their effort fruitless.

Sarah Schmocker and Isabelle Forrer made to the last four of the event with unbeaten records.
