The "Gook Luck Beijing" 2007 FIVB Beach Volleyball Women's Challenger will open on August 13 at Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground. A pre-tournament press conference was held in the Media Center at the venue on the morning Aug.12 to brief the media on the preparatory work for the event.

Caoyu, deputy director of the competition committee of the event organizing committee, Blair Harrison,an official from FIVB and Gao Feng, deputy-director of the media committee of the event organizing committee, introduced the related informations about the event respectively and then answered the questions by the journalists.

The event will be held on Aug. 8-13 . A total of 24 teams from 13 countries and regions will participte.
